Soooo.

I changed my URL~ Playground Conqueror was a really outdated name from when I was in like... 11th grade. =w=;;

So, I think this will be my picture post. There hasn't been a whole lot going on, I haven't been anywhere interesting lately and the week has sort of fallen into work, write essays for classes, unpack, switch houses, repeat! I really hope I finish going through my boxes of old drawings soon, I like seriously want these boxes out of my room and I want space to put another tiny dresser. Anyway, not important. Let's see pictures~ :3

Last week, it rained a lot! It was so pretty, everything was all covered in dew at the sunset and sunrise, and there was even a huge thunderstorm at my house! Kaela and Bri were here, and I thought I woke up like three hours early for work for no reason. I was like super mad, until I noticed that it was the thunder that woke me up. I walked into the hallway and both Bri and Kaela were awake as well, it lasted for a long time and the thunder got super, super close. :D

The day afterwards, I woke up to go with my mom to the Lee house, and this is what we saw when we walked outside! It was totally amazing!! A perfect rainbow all the way across the sky, it was so big that I couldn't fit the whole thing in my lens. There were people taking pictures all over the place.

Then, as we drove down the street, we got to the end of the rainbow! Whaaaat? How did we even find it? It was fading by the time we got there, but it was still so awesome that I had to take a crappy picture. The city was really bright and clean that day after the rain, it was so pretty. <3

I don't have a vanity yet, so there's nowhere to put all my kawaii jewelry and offbrand hairclips and stuff. They're all just sitting on my drawers. I have to find somewhere to put all of the hair accessories above, I hate sifting through them every day to find what I want and I desperately want them to be organized. >o<

My contacts for Lithuania came in the mail! I ordered from PinkyParadise, and they were very quick and had great customer service. I would post a review for them (and the order I got from KawaiiGoods) but I think Bri, Kaela, and I are going to start a review blog soon! I will say, even though my eyes are red-brown, the enlargement on these circle lenses is great and they make my eyes a nice emerald green, without having to photoshop the color in after taking a picture. I'm really hyped for my Liet wig to come in the mail within the week, I already have that 'casual' outfit we see him in a lot (the one that isn't his uniform, but the green sweater and tan pants and shit) and I want to run around cooking and being a dweeb dressed as him. -u-

Idk how to end this post (there weren't as many pictures as I thought...) so here is a picture I took a few months ago of my purple tea parties at the EKA school carnival. n_n

LET'S GOOO~

I am changing my URL from playgroundconqueror.blogspot.com to twinkletron.blogspot.com in a few days. If you have me bookmarked as Playground Conqueror, please remember! <33

When I have dreams about my OTP, I absolutely must post them here no matter how totally retarded the dream is. I woke up this morning and I know there's more to this dream, but I can't remember it. =w=

So the first thing I remember is walking about of an Autobot meeting in this sunny plaza sort of place. I was TFA Bumblebee. I just somehow knew this even though I couldn't see myself. And Bayverse Bonecrusher is just casually patrolling the perimeter, not giving a shit about any of the Autobots walking behind him. I was all giddy for whatever reason and I like skipped past him and was like "Blurr~!" calling out for him. Bonecrusher looked at me but didn't give a shit and kept walking, so I was like "BLURR~" louder and then Blurr ran up from the distance and was like "let's goooo~"

So then we had a race and I was still Bee, but I was seeing form the kind of point of view that you see from in Mirror's Edge, which I've never even played. I could just occasionally see my hands or feet when I did some crazy stunt. But one time when I was jumping, I saw my feet and I was wearing rollerskates made of red, green, and yellow Legos. This made me fall onto my chest in this field we were racing through and I just sort of stayed there until Blurr looked behind and saw me on the grass. Then he came back and helped me up in a very shoujo-like way and I was like "thank you~ <3" and he gave me this bishie-looking lopsided smile. Then we noticed there was a dock nearby.

There was like a big ocean-like lake with a house on the edge and a fishing dock. and Movieverse Starscream was climbing around on the dock like a retard. So Blurr was like "omg dude let's play a prank on him" so we magically disguised ourselves as G1 Soundwave and Shockwave and walked onto the dock. I was like (as Shockwave) "STARSCREAM WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" really loud and he just sorta looked at me and was like "do you think i'm stupid? i can see right through your disguises." and Blurr and I like panicked and jumped into the ocean-lake.

We seriously sank like four stories down and then swam to the side and ended up in this warehouse place. Blurr went away and sometime during my entering the warehouse I became Marisa Kirisame. For some reason, the warehouse was like producing shit but it also had a series of conveyor belts and traps set up by Megatron. All the traps were triggered with strings that had tiny personal notes form Megatron attached to them, explaining in detail what the traps would do. So I was like being thrown down these belts, catching onto wires and telephones and shoes and umbrellas and other random things that were set up for me to just barely be able to hang onto them, and at the very last second before I hit the ground I grabbed onto a rubber band, which saved my life pretty much. The ground was just an ordinary concrete floor like a convention center, and this stupid ugly brown dog I called Suika started following me as I exited.

There was a part about Bri, Kaela and I all coming out of this old mall building only to see a matte navy blue Lamborghini Gallardo parked right outside, and I freaked out and actually opened the door like "OMG GUYS I'M GOING TO DRIVE AWAY IN THE LAMBO" but I don't remember anything else about that part.

So suddenly we're at the movies at the Cinedome and we're seeing the "premier" of LOTR Return of the King. And there are people in front of us who brought babies and dogs and cats. The baby crawled over the chairs and sat with us, and one of the dogs jumped into my lap and went to bed, and the people around me all wanted to pet it. Everyone was being really loud, and one guys was crying because of Frodo. Suddenly this guy shouted out "WHO SMELLS CATFISH?" and like everyone raised their hands, and then there was an intermission in the movie. I saw RJ in the theater and there was this fuzzy white crap in front of the projector, and RJ went up to it and started actually punching it. Then I woke up. :3

Wow.

So, we've moved in here successfully, there are still boxes everywhere and lots of things yet to be found and unpacked, but we've met a few nice people and things have been generally good and quiet here.

BUT.

The day before yesterday, my dad and I were finished with pretty much everything at work, so we decided to leave early and take a trip to the old house. We didn't leave much stuff there, just some boxes in the garage along with a few stray things inside of the house. All of the trash in the house was left in garbage bags, but since garbage pickup was several days away on the day in which we moved out, we left the garbage bags inside. My dad and I went down there to bring the leftover boxes to storage, and take the big garbage bags to the curb to be picked up. Totally normal, right?

Everything seemed normal at the old house aside from the fact that the power has already been turned off, so it was like really hot inside. But then I walked into what used to be the shared master bedroom, and holy fucking shit.

Someone broke into the house between our moving out and going back a few days later. All of the garbage in the garbage bags was dumped all over the floor and had been sifted through. My beanbag (which we were throwing in the trash anyway) was also gone. The worst part was the wall. Where the beanbag used to be, the people who broke in literally kicked down the entire wall. If they had knocked it in any further, you would be able to see into the bathroom right next to the wall.

My dad called me into my mom's old room and we found that they had also destroyed her closet door. There were two very distinct footprints on the center, like someone had picked another person up and they'd run toward the door, then pushed their feet into it. We looked around closely and found that they had also locked the master bedroom door and kicked it in from the outside, (whyyyy?) causing the entire door to crack in half and the doorknob to break. All of the trash was everywhere, the cabinets had been opened even though there was nothing inside, they stole some pots and pans we left on the counter, and headed to the garage to figure out what we were going to do.

We opened the garage door only to find that my dad's meticulous garage packing job (he stacked like all of the boxes in a neat little pile in the middle of the garage so we could easily move them to storage) had been ransacked. Every single box and bag had been torn through and dumped out. They stole my old electric guitar that had been packed away in the corner, and the white shelves in the corner of the garage. They also stole a big case of my mom's oil paints. None of the childhood pictures or keepsakes we kept in the garage got damaged, just thrown onto the floor. It actually didn't seem like whoever broke in was trying to steal valuables, they just broke in to run around and fuck everything up. I doubt they thought that we were going to come back to the house to get any of the stuff in the boxes. They missed my box of collectible Breyer horses (early-teens phase I went through hurr durr) that's worth about$600, though, so they missed probably the most valuable thing left in the house.

We called 311 and filed a report, but it's likely that nothing will be done about it. They did leave lots of footprints all over the garage on a peice of giant paper that my mom had drawn Malfina (from Outlaw Star!!) on in like 2002. The cop that came to do the report said that everything would be referred to a detective, and they were cracking down a little harder on small-time break ins like this, because many of them are gang related. Hopefully something will get done and solved, but it isn't likely.

It isn't the fact that some of our useless stuff is gone that bothers me. It's that like, if we hadn't moved out on that particular day, if we'd still been living there and one of us forgot to lock the backdoor when we went out to eat, would this still have happened? Would our computers, consoles, and other electronics be gone? What about jewelry and decorations and stuff? It scares the crap out of me to think that we lived in a neighborhood where this could happen just a week ago. I don't think I'll ever forget to lock to the door and the windows again after seeing what they did to the old house! We're super lucky not to have anything truly valuable lost, it's just whoa that this all happened.

On a side note we get to do shots for a BMX biker person this Monday at work. =w=

EDIT;; Oh-hoooo. My aunt and mom just called me telling me that when they drove to the old house today to drop Bri off, guess which shelves they saw in the garage of our across-the-street neighbors? Our white ones that were stolen from the garage!! Now there won't even need to be an investigation, they will be arrested and our random stolen stuff will be returned. Happy ending today. C:

But really, how much of an idiot do you have to be to steal from your neighbors, then put the stolen goods where they could easily identify it? .___.;;

yeee!!

Well, I am making this post from a new house. Sorry for not making one sooner, the last week has been busy out the butt. Rather than moving on Sunday, we pretty much moved from last Wednesday to today.

Before that, I only worked one day last week and it was fairly uneventful, and James and I had to go back to his house to watch Sammy and the other dogs. We caught Captain America after the first day of the semester, and oh my fucking lord. That Hydra bomber plane, the giant flying wing. I am so in love with it. I really have to not fall for fictional things like Hydra planes and the pink tiger striped tank in f(x)'s Hot Summer music video, because I'll never get to see them. ;^;

Anyway, we packed the house like mad on Friday and Saturday, but actually started taking stuff over when we got the keys on Wednesday. We had the Lee twins with us when we signed the lease, and they were hilarious. They both kept trying to get out of the glass door of the office and didn't get why they couldn't.

My dad helped out a lot. We moved our packed boxes and small furniture over to the new house before Friday night, and James and I spent our first night here on Saturday. My room was a big mess of boxes, but I managed to buy a real actual bed! No more sleeping on the giant beanbag or on the floor in the living room. I finally also got to buy Transformers sheets because I am totally twelve years old you know I JUST LIKE THEM OKAY.

Sunday was so much less crazy. I expected it to be frantic hurried trips back and forth to get all of our stuff, but we had actually moved so much of it over already, there were only big things left. Our movers, James, his dad, and his uncle, along my my mom, sister, and I, got it done in less than an hour in the morning. We kept going back, because we had to get the cats and little miscellanious items that somehow got left. There are actually still things there that I have to get, a corkboard and a curtain, some drawings and other crap. The garage is another story. It has to go into storage until we can get it all sorted, which won't be for awhile since we're still unpacking here.

We also found out that James' middle school teacher lives in the apartment above ours! It's so weird, since when he taught at EKA, there was a maximum of like seven teachers at the school total. The chances of us ever seeing him again are literally like nothing. We live next to all sorts of yummy food places and right down the street from CSN, we're also next to a basketball court, and the swimming pool looks like so much fun! I can't wait to go down there for night swimming, it's my absolute favorite. n_n

I am also working hard to find stuff for James and I to cosplay Russia and Lithuania in time for AV this November. His head is really big so I'm trying to email all of the potential people I might buy his Russia wig from for their wig measurements. I'd hate to buy it and for it to look funny or not fit. I'm also actually having trouble finding a suitable Liet wig too. A shoulder length medium brown wig with light bangs should totally not be this hard to find, but so many have blonde highlights or shades of red blended in. I'm really picky about cosplay, especially with Hetalia, and wigs are the thing I nitpick the most. If I can't find the right wigs we just won't do it, but they've always been my absolute favorite characters and they were like my OTP for a while. If we both like cosplaying them at AV (and for a photoshoot at Mt. Charleston I have planned for February lololol) then maybe we'll go into their other outfits and stuff, and make it an ongoing thing. That would be super awesome. I do want to finish my Patchouli and Sari cosplays someday, though. -u-;;;

Yesterday I looked all over every Japanese auction site for Milky Planet in yellow. Nobody anywhere is selling the JSK!! When I didn't have enough money, I saw one on Mbok, and now that I do, someone bought it... It sucks. I absolutely will not buy a replica of one of my dream dresses, even though I can't find it. I'll just wait until one pops up and snag it first thing! Or, maybe I'll just cave and buy the lavender colorway. I really want the yellow though~! >o<

I'm also totally considering ordering the Aya Figma right now, because there aren't many TFs catching my eye in the stores (until the Prime toyline comesout ashoasjdoidj) and I could carry her around in my pocket if I ever get around to cosplaying her. I really like the way it looks, it would be the first not-robot toy I've bought in like. Forever. Actually, she'd be the first non-robot ever. It would make my shelf look weird... Wheeljack, Blurr, Hound, Soundwave, Drift, oh yeah and there's Aya too!
