half of the week~~

Well, half of the busiest week like ever is over. Next stop will be AV this weekend! Do I make a cute Lithuania? I'll post more pictures after I've actually styled my wig, I just wanted to wear everything. The lenses I have are really great, no "photoshop-my-eyes-a-different-color-because-my-contacts-are-to-dark" stuff anymore.

Anyway, the meeting/anniversary went really well! We left the house at live five PM and we didn't get back until midnight (before the time change) but it was really fun. The Red Rock hotel is beautiful, and the room where the meeting was held was enormous! Bigger than the other venues LVAC has had, I think. We set up the red carpet, mosaic, and step and repeat, and everyone really liked them. The powerpoint and our videos went off without a hitch, and everyone laughed at the "where were you in 1991?" video! I don't know if I mentioned it, but we also put all of the salespeople and people in the office's heads onto the "Party Rock Anthem" video by LMFAO. Now that was a hit. Everyone was laughing at the big floating heads shuffling around the screen. The food was also fantastic! It was a great anniversary dinner <3 Earlier we had a super posh anniversary celebration breakfast... at McDonalds. Remember when I was ranting about not getting McDonalds last post? Yep. The best celebration of two years of happiness involves a burger and soda. =u=

Then last night was my mom's birthday! I woke up early and literally covered the house in fancy papers saying "happy FIFTY-FIRST birthday" in rainbow colors. Last year my mom was complaining about turning 50 and we promised we wouldn't let her forget she was 51 this year, so like buttheads we pulled that. She walked in and was like "...Seriously?" and cracked up with laughter. We didn't get her painting on time though... But we still all went to dinner with her sister. It was super tasty and I was Comrade Twinkletron. Have I mentioned on here that I have this ushanka with a Soviet badge on it that I ordered from Ukraine? I hardly get to wear it, but now that it's so cold I felt like it was appropriate. c:

Also, Mike and Mari visited our house for five days. =w= Originally, James and I thought they were just coming over to visit for a night, but we all stayed up way past sunrise playing video games and on the computer. Mari brought curry and I chipped my tooth on a lollipop. It isn't noticeable, but I feel it on my tooth. D:

We just hung out and talked about shit, I haven't seen either of them in a really long time so it was good to catch up! Bri and Mike watched this Mark Twain movie while Mari and I sort of half-watched, and then everything became Mark Twain. It's all Mark Twain. Forever. Then yesterday before we went to dinner, Bri, Mari and I had an afternoon of anime nostalgia, listening to like every theme song and ending theme that we could remember from our childhoods. xDIt was a really fun week, visiting with them, going to the meeting, celebrating our anniversary, and throwing mom a 51 party~ <3

I am so excited for AV! I know it's a smaller con and considered mediocre by most standards, but it's my home convention and there are a lot of good memories to be made there each year. I'll post pictures from everything after sunday! See you all at the Alexis Park~!! <3

November!!

A little late but, Happy Halloween! I didn't go out or dress up this year because nothing was really going on, but James and I carved a badass pumpkin that I'll have to post pictures of~!

I am so excited for Saturday. Everything we've been working on for the last few weeks! Over! And James! Two whole years of a perfect world~! <33 Do I sound like Kira yet? Well, I haven't killed any criminals or made the trade for Shinigami eyes, so I'm not Kira material anyway...

Today I went and emptied my memory cards and started to charge all my camera batteries. These first few weeks of November will be so much fun~ I found out that my Liet outfit only has button pockets today so I went out and bought a bag for all of my stuff. I dunno why I assumed I had pockets in my pants. Maybe because Liet is a dude and I've never seen dude clothes without pockets? n_n;;

All day we've pretty much been playing various video games in the living room. My mom isn't feeling well so we went to the store to buy her bananas (wat) and we stopped to eat at Panda Express. I sorta wanted McDonalds... u_u; I'll eat McDonalds tomorrow. I think I could single-handedly support the entire American fast food industry. I love my hamburgers way too much <33

Anyway. A few days ago at work I was told that the Yogurtland on Flamingo was robbed. D: It's very scary. They were having trouble playing the video footage, so they brought it to the edit bay and we played it for them. It was really un-nerving to see a guy in a hood and face mask run into the store with a gun and make the workers lay down on the floor while he took everything. The yogurt is so good there, I was almost surprised he didn't grab a cup of it before he left. =w= But really, it was scary just to watch the footage. I hope they find out who it was soon.

Oh, and even though nothing else is going on aside from prepating for AV and the meeting and me writing lame fanfiction as usual, I need to explain the dream I had list night. It was totally horrible.

In this dream I was at a casino here in town. James was with me and my mom was across the casino, and I told James I was going to talk to her. So I ran across the casino, asked her some questions, and then started running back to where James was. When I got there, there was like a wall and a whole bunch of people. I asked if I could get though the wall to get to him, they told me that here had been like an accident, and that he was dead.

I cried and stuff. I grieved but I kept on going and I'm guessing time should have been speed up about a year. I think I was supposed to have stopped working and I was just sitting around at home going through the motions for the whole year that had passed. Then it sort of skipped to my mom and I at the store at the checkout lane. While we were putting groceries on the belt, she said something like "how long will you go on like this? It's been a year and you're sitting around." and it just like. Hit me. It was like a tidal wave. I realized that I would never see him or hug him or hear his voice ever again. I didn't even get to say goodbye because he died in an accident. So I just like cried and collapsed into a mess on the floor in front of everyone. I kept saying "I want James, I want James" and crying even harder because I knew that no matter how many times I said it, I would never ever see him again.

After that I woke up. I was pretty much sobbing and it woke James up. I don't think I've ever had a nightmare like that before, I've never opened my eyes like screaming crying from a dream either. I just freaked out for a good 15 minutes while he held me and I tried wrapping my head around the fact that it was a dream. I never have nightmares! All of my dreams are trippy and weird, but never so sad! ;A;

So, after I was calmed down, we went back to sleep and I dreamed that I had a brown horse that I kept in my room. A fucking horse. In my room. And I just fed it little things I found laying around, string and tiny green bricks. And I used to have a Saddlebred apparently too, but it had died. So I had cut off it's head, and I kept the head in the corner of the room. Whenever I missed it I would just go over and pet it's decaying head. There was also a part about a Dodge Challenger and a Walgreens where everyone spoke Russian, but I don't remember those parts as well. =u=;; I've been having way too many weird dreams lately!

I think that's about it for what's happened recently. It's Laurie's birthday today and my Mom's on Monday~! Everyones' birthdays are coming up... Even mine! I'll be twenty... How old. TToTT
