Yeah, so, it's already like the end of spring break. I was having fun doing nothing but fucking writing and laughing my ass off with Bri and Kaela and everyone in the living room. I even got work off, so I had a six day vacation. Buh, wah~ Back to life we go on Monday.
So, I have to try to recap on things... I'll start with today and work backwards. James and I have been trying to finish our sociology books so that we aren't writing things at the very last second, which I can promise you that I'll be writing anyway. I'm not sure what my actual project will be on, something involving class struggle, I guess. My book has a lot about it.
Earlier I was watching some hilarious shit. If you've never heard of Transformers Tataki, I suggest you go watch it. It is literally bordering on Big Rigs-tier hilariousness. The cutscenes are half the game and the voice acting is the greatest of all time. Not to mention the fucking retarded script. I was having a good time with it on tumblr today. If you've seen my blog in the last few hours, you'll know what I mean. It is some quality shit.
Spring break has been full of nothing but Silent Hill: Downpour and Fallout. I've done literally everything in Freeside (ironically enough, everything except for the FISTO thing in Wang Dang Atomic Tango, because I didn't have a science of 50 until yesterday hurr durr) and I've got most of my locations back. But Bri got ahold of Downpour and has been playing it almost nonstop since she got it. It's actually a super pretty game, with lots of interesting things that I haven't seen in any Silent Hill game before. I'm really disappointed that there weren't any extravagant Homecoming-type bosses, though. That, and the level of actual gore in the game has definitely lowered since Homecoming as well. But it's okay, because Murphy is beautiful and moe as fuck, and Mari and I had the greatest time screaming at Murphy and Sewell to do gay shit at the beginning of the game (WHICH TOTALLY HAPPENED ACTUALLY) and there were lots of entertaining jokes that were born.
Kaela's birthday was on Thursday, so on Wednesday night, we all went out rollerskating with her. I haven't been to Crystal Palace in a long time, and she had new skates that she wanted to try out. James was the only one with rented skates, and the first pair they gave him were all loose and weird, and the second pair had this weird turned wheel. Luckily, the third pair was a good pair, and it was super fun. They played "I'm Sexy and I Know It" and we all tried to hip-thrust to the music and... it didn't work.
We also went and saw The Hunger Games during the midnight premier. I haven't read the books, but the movie itself was pretty cool. I could have watched an entire movie centered on the pre-game preparations, and I thought the ending was lame as hell (she suddenly decides she cares about Doitsu and they win together? DURR) but I really liked the beginning atmosphere and all. The camera movement in District 12 was very well done, same with the camera after Rue's death when there's a riot in her home district. People also screamed at the top of their lungs during the Twilight trailer, and we kind of just sat there like... really? It's okay for you to scream and stuff during the movie, because apparently everyone does that, but when you're in a theater full of people who are just trying to watch quietly, that's goddamn disrespectful.
Then there was the neighborhood watch meeting in which I learned that there is a crack house somewhere in the complex. That's neato. I also watched badly dubbed animes in languages I don't understand. Also making a website about hypothetical planets to use as my own source. Hella.
And for some reason, I've ended up writing like 40 things at once. Someone keep me away from kink memes, because I scroll down and want to fill every single unfilled prompt ever. I'm working on 4 at the moment, and I'm trying to stay away from them long enough to write this book report. I'm also still working on that asakiku thing that I'll never finish.
Also, to you lolitas out there, there is a LOT of cheap brand on Mbok right now. I have no idea what's going on or why, but there were so many tempting pieces on there yesterday. I might end up buying Sugary Carnival tomorrow. =u=
