Well, the past week has been eventful. EKA's prom happened and I was hired as the photographer. It was so much fun! I bought my dress for only $20 on Ebay from a nice store because James and I were doing a '50s theme. It was a shirtwaist dress with black and white polka dots on it. I also had black gloves and pearl earrings. I walked around like "Do I look good in my clean pre-war springwear lololol~ where's my mask so I can join the White Glove Society durr~~" and we got to the event area early to set up. We had a grey backdrop and this EKA light thing that didn't work. My dad was the one who had to lend me lights because I don't have any of my own yet. ;~;
I took a lot of pictures and I also had time to dance and eat! The food was delicious and the DJ guy was great, he played this Transformers song that I really want to know the name of. He played Katy Perry's "ET" and Bri and I were both like AKDAHSKDAHAHAHAHA because it's become a gay robot inside joke now. Like everything. Jake and Lucy won prom king & queen and they were adorable together. I stood on stage taking pictures of everyone together singing "We Are The Champions". RJ did one of his speeches and I got lots of pictures. Then, at the end, they played "Don't Stop Believing" as the final song and everyone crowded around Ms. Mattson in a huge group hug while singing and screaming the lyrics and jumping. She cried and I almost cried because of how much fun I was having and the sense of family we all have. But I couldn't cry because I was having TOO much fun. |D
