Alright, so. Borders is going out of business. Everyone know that by now, the stores have huge signs everywhere saying that everything is on sale. James wanted to look for D&D stuff he's missing, Bri wanted to look for random stuff ( we found lots of Inubaka volumes we're missing ;o; ), and I wanted to find that TF "Exodus" book I've been wanting to read since I saw it there a long time ago but couldn't afford it because (HURRR) I had bought too many Transformers.


So we all go down to Borders and stop at Toys R Us first, where I FINALLY found Generations Wheeljack! Every place I checked before TRU didn't have him, or many other Generations toys for that matter, so I'm really glad after all this searching that I finally have him! I probably shouldn't have spent the money on it, but I really really like him ;~;

So, afterwards we went to Borders, which was a lot less crazy than I expected. I was picturing like a line out the door and around the block, but it was pretty tame. For some reason, one of the stores had taken out all of the computers, so we couldn't really find anything and had to do it the long old fashioned way and actually look on the shelves. =~=;; But, in all, we did end up finding what we wanted. I found Exodus and James found his book, Bri bought a plush donut for reasons unknown, and we were walking around the store getting ready to leave when we ran into some people that my mom was talking about not too long ago.

Apparently, she emailed this lady Angela, on my aunt's friendlist on Facebook, asking if her kids had once going to EKA. Of course, they did, blah blah blah EKA family connection speech here. So they were talking about where we all are now and my mom mentioned something about seeing our aunt. My sister mentioned something about seeing them at Izzalette's baby shower. For a second we were all like 'wat' just standing in Borders, but it sort of dawned on us at the same time. We are totally related. My dad's sister (and my dad, obviously) is related to and close to her father. Or something like that. Bri said that that made us first cousins once removed (I think once removed, because of the generation gap). And we found out completely on a whim that we were related to these people, who had gone to our school back when I was in like 6th grade, in the middle of Borders. It was just so trippy and amazing. We constantly make jokes about how, as Filipinos, we can meet up with other Filipinos and be like "oh yeah, we're cousins!" and laugh about it. I can't believe that it actually happened though. Angela also told us that she had met our mom WAY back in the day, and that she used to do preformance dancing with my Uncle Angel! So we knew then even before EKA, and never knew that we were related until last night. It was freaking amazing. Go to buy books, end up meeting lost relatives.

That's two in the past year that I've met, with Manuel earlier in the year. Ahh relatives everywhere!! Anyway yes, that was my night of Wheeljack and books and first cousins. Now I will go back to reading and maybe I'll take pictures of Wheeljack tomorrow in the storm drain. :3

Cramps from Perceptor and an elusive Maserati

Okay so I forgot to mention it earlier in the post I made yesterday, but I had two really weird dreams aside from the NANA train.

The first was one where pretty much everyone I know was hanging around this desert compound place. I think it was supposed to be a school, but none of us attended the school. I got the feeling that some of my friends worked there. We were all in this desert-style outdoor picnic table place with big shade things built around us, and on either side was a huge like five story building, on the side of a hill. In the middle was a roller coaster. I have no fucking idea how this worked, but I was walking with James and thinking "huh, I've been in those buildings and I don't feel sideways!" in between the buildings.

Then, we walked back to the picnic tables where everyone I know was sitting around eating lunch. I also just so happened to be friends with Skywarp and Thundercracker! Except, they were scaled down versions of their G1 selves, not people-sized but still really small. I kept fucking around with Thundercracker and running up to him and like patting him really fast all over his head and then running away like "LOLOLOL" but he'd never try to get me back. So somehow I knew he was going to get me back one single time, so I went around to James, Jake, and Skywarp and I was like "hey, you guys have to watch my ass because I'm going to go hit Thundercracker again!!" and they were like "lolkay" and just went back to what they were doing. During this time there was someone driving around the compound in a Maserati GranTurismo and I kept seeing it and pointing it out, and nobody else would catch it. I was getting so frustrated. So I ran up behind Thundercracker and patted him on the head and he finally stood up to chase after me. I ran away really fast to a place where Kaela and Quinn were sitting at one of the tables playing like Gameboys from the '90s (I never had one but it was those flippy square kind) and I was like "LOL SHIT GUYS HELP ME" and they were like "but we're eating lunch" so I ran away.

I ran over to where Bri, Hunter, and Cassandra were looking at this disk that had Pokemon charms attached to it. Like it was a disk that had holes where the charms dangled from it through the middle. And then some of the charms got crushed, so Bri was helping Cassandra pick out which ones they needed to replace when the Maserati drove past again, and I was like "OMG LOOK" at everyone but they were too late AGAIN AUUUGH. So lunch was ending and we all had to get back to our jobs and James was holding the door for everyone, and I figured if I could get to him, Thundercracker wouldn't beat me up or something. I ran over to Skywarp and was like "hide me bro I gotta get to the door" so I was walking in synch with him when the Maserati drove by AGAIN and Skywarp finally saw it, then I fucking booked it to door and I have no idea what happened because I woke up. c:

Then last night I had a dream in which me and like three other girls were in front of this desk complaining about how Perceptor gave us cramps. The reasoning for this was thus: because he changed himself to be a sniper bishie badass, he gave us cramps because of HOW GOOD LOOKING HE WAS. I am not kidding you. That was our argument. I don't remember anything else, but seriously, fucking LOL.

Also that picture I used a the top of this post has been my phone wallpaper for like weeks and every time I see it I still make a "CB" face in my head~~

REEEALLY STARSCREAM

Well, hello there blogger! =w=

It's been a while so I'll recap on old things before I get to the more recent stuff.

I had a dream that all of the characters from NANA were on a train that was inside out and had two cars. Nana, Ren, Reira, Takumi, Yasu, and Naoki were in the front car, and Hachi, Nobu, Shin, Misato, and fucking SHREK were in the second car. they were talking to eachother through the windows rather than opening the doors to the other cars, and they figured out that they had to push on the ends of the train to make it flip right-side-in, but whoever went to push on the end would die. So Shrek and Nobu went to push on one end and Ren and Nana on the other, and all that happened was that the cars suddenly became clear and looked almost gelatinous, and they went through a black tunnel and everyone was screaming because they thought that everyone was going to die.

I don't remember anything else about the dream. =w=

Aaaaaanyway... I haven't been doing much lately, but the weather here is making it unbearable to go outside. It's so humid, and I really don't mind 110+ degree days after living here for my entire life, but when it's humid I'm just like, no. I hate humidity, it makes my bangs flip upwards and it looks so fucking stupid. I don't want to go anywhere important while my bangs look like poo, and it really makes me uninspired to wear lolita. I don't want to pile on a blouse, sometimes an undershirt, a JSK, tights and socks and like four petticoats so that the humidity doesn't ruin my poof, all to feel like I'm swimming around outside rather than walking. I think I'm going to put off purchasing Milky Planet and Candy Treat until after the summer is over. I don't want to buy two of my dream dresses only to look at them in the closet and go "ugh, I don't want to pile that shit on!"

So, instead, I'm finally gearing to buy my G1 Shockwave that I said I was going to buy a few months ago, only to chicken out again. This time, I want to find an original one, not the remakes, and unopened. I've seen a few people selling him "mint in box", but then they opened the box to transform him for the sale photos. Like we wouldn't be able to tell that he transforms. I know it's nice to know that he's in working order, but mint in box means he's in the box, not "taken out and transformed a few times but whatever we put him back!" with the points cut out of the back. It really doesn't matter if I have to pay a buttload extra for it, it will be worth it. Then I can have enough time to save up for MP and CT again before the weather starts getting really cold~!

Other than that, I've been having fun with my new phone, keeping up with the GG Roleplay that's now back in business, writing about Knock Out and Breakdown, preparing for D&D, Shockwave is nursing my baby Boba Fett, and I have a big list of TFs aside from G1 Shockwave that I'm going to buy soon, especially SKY LYNX EEE~ Don't ask me why, but I fucking LOVED him ever since I first got into the fandom! I've always wanted a Sky Lynx and I can't really describe why. I'm also going to put a fund away for when the TF Prime toys come out in December. The other day I told Bri that "I am going to buy like 36 Starscreams and take a bath in them" so, uhhhh. I'll buy like 36 Starscreams I guess, haha. Not really, I'd rather buy like 5000 Ratchets <333 I adore him so much, I need to draw him covered in jizz.

Uh, other things that have happened... I'm painting G1 Starscream on this canvas I found in the backyard (wtf seriously) and I have no inspiration to work on any of my current fanfics or crap, I sorta just want to browse the internet and listen to music lately. At work we've been working on a new spot for LVAC and more things for Jennifer and the NDA. Today, they moved a lot of ancient fitness equipment into the hallway at the office. There's this thing that's pretty much a bunch of bumpy metal rolling pins that you supposedly used to "roll away fat". Uh, what. My dad and I were laughing at all of them today because they're just so weird looking, and barely in working order. I'm not quite sure what they're for, not for the gym, but just sitting there?

Oh yes, I forgot to mention to blogger that I spent like a week sitting with a giant box in my living room, cleaning and re-organizing all of my My Little Pony toys. All like 250 of them. :C It took a really long time, but I combed through and conditioned all of their hair, then wrapped it around their legs with rubber bands and arranged them in the box so that no color discoloration / blending crap would happen. It happened last summer, and a few of them have slight discoloration or spots, some of my Butterfly Island ponies have almost melty looking cutie marks because of the heat, so I'm keeping the box inside for the summer!

James and I have decided to cosplay Russia and Lithuania from APH at this year Anime Vegas. I was really into Hetalia at the beginning of 2008 and it sort of overtook my TF fandom for a while, but I grew bored of it over time and sort of forgot about it eventually. However, Russia was always my favorite character along with Liet ( I remember reading and filling a lot of kink meme stuff about them back on the first APH kink meme on LJ a long time ago, I think that's what really got me into write slash-ey stuff owo;; ) and James is already tall, european, and intimidating (sort of) and I'm already waify and small, so the cosplay will be really fitting for us, aside from the fact that our relationship isn't fucked to hell like theirs is. I've always wanted to do a couple cosplay but there aren't really characters that I ship that we could do it of, Blurr and Bee lololol. I'll finally have an excuse to run around wearing my frilly apron~~!

Then, yesterday I re-dyed my hair black and trimmed off a good four inches of split ends. After not cutting it throughout high school I became horribly afraid of doing pretty much anything but dying it (I went through a tard phase when I dyed it various shades of magenta and red in 9th grade and then went back to dark brown/amber brown split for the rest of school) and decided I should just trim it and get it over with. After trimming it though, I feel even more compelled to cut more off or get layers or something. It's not as terrible as I made it up to be in my head and it'll always grow back. Right now I'm thinking I'll just get some nice layers (like Taemin in SHINee's Lucifer MV!) to thin out the ends and maybe cut it shorter in increments over the rest of the year. Maybe by December I'll get a Sasuke haircut, becuase I've always wanted to do that but I've been afraid of cutting it! Then it will be sort of awkward though, because Bri is sorta famous among our friends for her excellent Itachi cosplay, I'll have to cosplay Sasuke if I have his hair, I'm her older sister, and we've both shipped ItaSasu since like 8th grade. Yeah. Weird. Maybe I'll just skip the cosplay. o_o;;

Yeah, I think that's basically it. :D I'll post pictures and things later, I want to get back to not working on stuff that matters working on writing in the Knock Out and Breakdown thing I'm doing. =w=

I'm SO sorry! I haven't made a post for the majority of the month!! There are so many things I need to recap on, I promise that tomorrow I'll make a comprehensive post of everything I forgot to post... Everything will get done, I promise!

Yesterday turned out to be a really good day! :3

I was lucky to be able to switch from working on Tuesday and Thursday to working on Wednesday and Thursday, so I got to stay with the new puppy. He's one of those dogs who still chews on everything, and it's really cute! However, it seriously will not be cute when he gets one of my shoes or something. He almost chewed up a lego car yesterday.

I went driving with James and he drove in traffic for the first time (since he just got his permit) and it was really fun! We drove to the gun range and then went to eat at Chili's, and I got a plate of chicken fingers that was HUGE. I didn't expect it to be that much food, literally the fries were almost too much to fit in a to-go box. AFTER I had eaten some!

Then I got an unexpected surprise- a friend from a long time ago called me for the first time in a few years! I was so excited to talk to him again, for the longest time I was wondering how he was doing and it was really great to catch up~ I was pretty much set on happy-mode after all that for the rest of the day.

I forgot to make a post on the 4th of July because I spent the WHOLE DAY looking for this badass picture of movieverse Bumblebee with am American flag, but I couldn't find it. ._. We didn't go see fireworks because of the new dog, but we watched a Twilight Zone marathon at James' house (and I've never seen any of it before, it was some serious trippy shit) and I decorated my new phone.

I don't think I've talked about it here yet, but my Solstice's screen stopped working. I've had it for like a year and coming home from work one day, it just... stopped. Nothing I've done has worked, and since it's one of those phones that has a touch screen and no other buttons, I can't do shit with it. Rather than getting it fixed, I looked at refurbished/cheap phones online and decided just to switch it. All of the phones were those old flip-phones and the rugged phones and such, along with one iPhone. The iPhone was refurbished (which was the reason it was there) and it was- get ready for it, one cent. One freaking cent! I don't like Apple stuff that much because it confuses me a bit and I don't like their weird "app store" stuff ( "oh hey buy this phone! buy this song! buy the ringtone of the song for the phone! buy the app for the ringtone for the song for the phone!" ) but I couldn't resist a good smartphone for a single cent! So I've just got this iPhone now, covered with Transformers stickers. It's sort of nice now, being able to go on the internet on my phone. One cent nice phone to replace one with a broken screen!

Anyway, today at work we "became DJs" because the person we were making a spot for wanted very specific parts of this techno song playing, so we spent a longer time editing the song to make it sound nice than editing the commercial. It was weird, I hear the song on the radio but when you break it down it's sort of confusing to get it to sound right, maybe it's just because the client wanted EXTREMELY specific parts. Either way, it was fun. n_n

After that, James, Bri and I went to Town Square so I could find a clear case for my new phone and a cord to hook my old Solstice up to my compooter to steal my contacts and stuff. We stopped at Borders and I ended up buying all of us more D&D material (Psyonic Power for Bri's crazy mofo and the Eberron Player's Guide for James because he's thinking about playing a Changeling) and also decided that my character's armor's color scheme is going to be based off of G1 Grimlock, because she IS G1 Grimlock. We went to Fry's for the cover and stuff and they had this giant Transformers display where I could live all day. Bri just had to point out the little Cyberverse Blackout (AND MINI SCORPONOK HNNNG) so... gah, of course I had to buy him! I was actually like a day away from ordering a normal-sized Blackout along with TFA Blitzy but now my taste for helicopters has been satisfied for a short while.

Tomorrow I don't have to work until 1 PM! Hell yeah!

Is it okay that all of my entries from now on are about how beautiful movie Shockwave was?

His eye and his pretty ribs and everything. <333 EVERYTHING~ <33 I tried to find a video of that scene where the desk almost falls on him and I got like 900 viruses on my computer, but it was worth it. I wish I could properly illustrate my reaction to him in the theater, it was a mix between screaming "YESSSSS" when he first showed up and "NOOOOO BABY" when he was dying. The whole time with a lot of tears and squirming. People probably thought I was retarded. IT DOES NOT MATTER~

Uh, anyway! I mentioned a few days ago that I have Ironhide and Sideswipe (little Cyberverse ones because I was looking at bitty Transformers to fit in my bag on the way back from Palmdale) so today I hijacked James' webcam to show them off (along with my All Hail Megatron shirt and matrix necklace I'm wearing today durr hurr)

Poor quality photos and my weird faces, but you get my point! They're REALLY small~! Next time I post a picture, I'll make sure I'm actually smiling and not making a loser face. =w=

They're so cute... I want more, but I keep spending money on bigger TFs. I also am going to be getting a big Chocomint order soon, so I'll have to post all the cute accessories I get! :D

So this weekend we visited James' cousins in California again. They have these three goliath-sized mastiffs, one of them, Thor, was still little when we last visited last year, and now he's all grown up! I could fit inside his head he's so big! We went shopping for bathing suits and I got a cute red one, we got to go swimming and hang out with everyone, we also ate really good burritos and hamburgers! His Aunt Karen and Uncle Buddy are really nice and their house is so cool, every day is like a party over there and I love it <33 It was fun seeing them again.

We also came back to Vegas with a dog. His cousins found a young pit bull tied to a fence outside of the park, and he has nowhere to go. He's very underweight but he's the sweetest dog ever. He'll lick your face and just rest his head on your lap and just snooze. He's very mellow, people over there were calling him Samson but it's evolved into everyone just calling him "Handsome". So now there are three dogs here and one dog at my house, there are just too many of them in my opinion, but they all seem to get along well so far!

Also James just threw a tiny Boba Fett at me because he's dusting his Star Wars Legos, so I'm going to fangirl over it. |3
