So, I'm working with my dad now. He's essentially teaching me the how-to's when it comes to his job, editing footage and filming, doing lighting and setups, and taking pictures of people in what used to be a martial arts room that's been converted to a giant studio. I prettty much just chill with him at work (and his co-workers and boss are all funny and really nice :D) and do random stuff aside from the shooting. It's been really fun for the past week, I really like what he does.

I've had these roll of film sitting in my bag forever, and I'm afraid they'll somehow just spill out and my 120 rolls will magically come undone and just... die. I need to get them developed so that I can stop being paranoid about them.

Today half of the school ditched and went to Renn Fair. We had a reservation as a class and all pretty much got in for free. It was really fun just wandering around the lake and looking at all the people dressed up and the tents, and looking at the weird shops and stuff. James bought me this really lovely locket and a ring with a purple crystal in it. We got cinnamon roasted almonds and I got a snowcone! I've wanted a snowcone for more than a year now, and I got in banana + pina colada flavors. It was so delicious. We saw this really good Jack Sparrow cosplayer (no, he seriously walked, talked, and looked exactly like Depp in the movie, a lot of people were sort of crowding around asking 'is that really him?') and I watched this little three-year-old boy wearing a blue jacket run up to him and stand behind him before yelling "Jack!!" really enthusiastically. The Jack Sparrow turned around and raised his eyebrow and then waved back in a very in-character moment, but when he turned back around and began walking away I could see a huge grin on his face. It was awesome. When we got home both of us just passed out asleep woke up at seven PM with sore legs form walking around the entire lake so many times. James has a huge sunburn on his chest as well, in the shape of a heart. He outlined it in a black marker. <:

I need to post a photo of the outfit I wore to the fair today. It was super Spank!, I was actually pretty proud of the way it turned out because I felt genuinely '80s, except both of the cameras I took the the fair were from the '60s. Oh well. I'll get my 35mm developed and post pictures. c:
