Yeah, our car looks like a badass. :D Too bad it was super unwashed when I took this picture. So yesterday while on the way to work, my dad and I stopped by the Hilton to register and get our NAB show badges. OMG IS WAS SO HUGE. I didn't bring my camera with me, but I totally wil when we go back tomorrow! We walked through two enormous halls full of post-production and audio stuff. I got to play with this giant camera at Grass Valley's exhibit where they had a bunch of people dressed up as cowboys. I NEED to take pictures. I know business conventions probably all look like this, but I was surprised by the displays and the sheer amount of people there! So many guys in suits with smartphones!
Really I think that's the only thing that is worth mentioning on here for now. Until tomorrow. OH WAIT.
So on Monday, James and I were both at the school because we were going to catch a ride with my mom on her way back, and he had his math class. We were sitting up in the front office chilling until his class started when all of the teachers started freaking the fuck out because of a water leak. I was like, oh, it can't be that bad, right? So very wrong. Two inches of standing water throughout the school. Water coming out of the ceiling between the teacher bathrooms and the boy's bathroom. They cut off the main power and James' class started, I was sitting next to him making my way through that vault full of fiends on New Vegas (Motor-Runner is my bro now, I considered sitting in a corner and sniping everyone who walked in front of me, but nah. They're okay in my book now) and they actually told us that the health district needed to be called and that we need to "evacuate". Quinn seemed very pissed. James was loling about the movie "Water World" the entire time. So, we went and ate breakfast and school has been cancelled for the week. Their spring break started right then. I sorta wish I was still at school at EKA to be there for this sort of shit.
IDK I'll describe my strange orphanage/key dream on a later date and post tons of pictures from Thursday's NAB Show events on here soon as well. I still can't get over the "story" James came up with last night at like 3 AM about Victor and Yes Man and nuclear battery sex. Bri literally gave him a handshake for it. I was crying on the floor of the closet because I was laughing so hard.
OH AND P.S.~ To Cera and Kaela- I'm so glad to see you two on here again. :3
